Cooper is a wonderful young dog from Romania who is eagerly waiting for his forever home! Cooper is a Herdi mix, approximately two years old, who has been with us at the shelter for several weeks. He is an active, friendly and curious dog who loves the company of people. Although he still needs some time to gain trust, he already shows how much love and joy he has inside. Cooper loves being outdoors and is a clever dog who has already learned a few tricks - from sit and stay to giving paw. He is compatible with other dogs and enjoys the company, especially from ladies. Cooper has a severe hip dysplasia that needs to be operated on to enable him to live a pain-free life. He is currently on pain medication, which he is coping well with, until he has settled into his new home. Cooper shows resource guarding, especially with food or toys, and needs a calm, experienced caregiver who can give him security and help him improve his behavior. He is currently wearing a muzzle. He should live in a home without children and in a rural environment with a garden where he feels comfortable. A dog school would also bring him joy and support his development. Lernt Cooper kennen – einen wundervollen jungen Hund aus Rumänien, der sehnsüchtig auf sein Für-Immer-Zuhause wartet! Cooper ist ein etwa zweijähriger Herdi-Mix, der seit einigen Wochen bei uns im Tierheim ist. Er ist ein aktiver, freundlicher und neugieriger Hund, der die Nähe zu Menschen sehr schätzt. Obwohl er noch etwas Zeit braucht, um richtig Vertrauen zu fassen, zeigt er bereits, wie viel Liebe und Freude in ihm steckt. Cooper liebt es, draußen unterwegs zu sein, und ist ein cleverer Hund, der schon ein paar Tricks beherrscht – von Sitz und Platz bis hin zu Pfötchen geben. Er ist verträglich mit anderen Hunden und freut sich über Gesellschaft, vor allem von Damen. Cooper hat eine schwere Hüftgelenksdysplasie, die operiert werden muss, um ihm ein schmerzfreies Leben zu ermöglichen. Aktuell bekommt er Schmerzmittel, womit er erstmal gut klar kommt, bis er sich im neuen Zuhause eingelebt hat. Cooper zeigt Ressourcenverteidigung, besonders bei Futter oder Spielzeug, und braucht eine ruhige, erfahrene Bezugsperson, die ihm Sicherheit gibt und ihm hilft, sein Verhalten zu verbessern. Aktuell wird er mit Maulkorb geführt. Er sollte in einem Zuhause ohne Kinder leben und in einer ländlichen Umgebung mit Garten, wo er sich wohlfühlt. Eine Hundeschule würde ihm zusätzlich Freude bereiten und ihn in seiner Entwicklung unterstützen. Wenn du Erfahrung mit Hunden hast, dich mit seiner Rasse auskennst und bereit bist, Cooper die Liebe und Geduld zu schenken, die er verdient, dann melde dich bei uns!
