About Costica

Costica “Costi” was originally found west of Craiova on the road that leads through a large piece of forest. He was probably the dog of a hunter who came down to him or at least he was not sought and missed. Costi humiliated clearly and we suspect he was probably hit by a car. X-rays showed that he had broken the hips, but that no operation would be necessary and the hip would cure by itself. When we were able to get to know him personally during our visit to Romania, he jumped around cheerfully and was able to run over the meadow quite quickly again. He seems to have no impairment. Probably he also had an injury to the left front member dimensions, because there the toes stand a little. But all this does not seem to cause any complaints to Costi. He is such a cheerful and good-tempered dog – is delighted with his visit and cuddly contact and always wants to be very close to one. In the Shelter, Costi now lives with Carolina. Both come together and complement each other in their society. Costi is very active...sometimes he is faster than you can watch and so it happened recently that he came into a dog room during feeding where he actually had nothing to look for. Unfortunately, this was also made very clear to him. The bite injury was supplied to the veterinarian and is now well cured. We want to help Costi find a home in Germany where he is loved and respected and can live a little safer.
