Croquembouche

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 4 years

A stunning cat with an elegant cream coat featuring delicate orange undertones, its beauty further enhanced by its striking blue eyes. The name was not chosen at random: the coat's colors evoke the famous croquembouche, a dramatic French dessert composed of a pyramid of cream-filled choux pastry balls topped with caramel. The cat has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Temperament: In the shelter, Croquembouche has proven to be an extremely sweet and affectionate cat. Open, sociable, and friendly towards people, it approaches life in the shelter with serenity. It also gets along well with the adult female cats it currently shares a cage with, showing good social skills and a calm management of interactions. Ideal adoption: Croquembouche is the perfect companion for a family, couple, or single person who is present, affectionate, and able to offer companionship without being intrusive, respecting its time and space. We do not know its history before arriving at the shelter, but its balanced temperament leads us to believe it can fit well into different family contexts. Therefore, we believe it can also get along well with children who are educated to have a proper relationship with animals, are adequately supervised, and understand its moments of rest and need for tranquility. Thanks to its sociable and adaptable nature, it could be a good choice for those new to cat ownership. We imagine it in a home that allows it to enjoy both the comforts of domestic life, including cuddles, attention, and relaxation, and the opportunity to explore the outside world. A garden to frequent, once it has settled into its new home and acquired adequate territorial and relational reference points, would be an ideal condition for it. Adoptable exclusively in the province of Monza and Brianza and in the closely adjacent municipalities. Origin: It appeared one day in a cat colony in Carnate (MB). Although it was not spayed/neutered, its serene temperament and natural trust in humans lead us to believe it has known the affection and attention of a family in the past.

About Croquembouche

What life with Croquembouche looks like

Croquembouche is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at ENPA Monza e Brianza in Monza.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇮🇹Adopting from Italy

Italian canili require adopters to sign a stewardship contract (affido) and may retain the right to verify the animal's wellbeing post-adoption. Animals are chipped and sterilized before leaving (Legge 281/91). Public canili rifugio typically waive adoption fees.

Frequently asked

Adopting Croquembouche, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Croquembouche?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. ENPA Monza e Brianza handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Croquembouche on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Croquembouche if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — ENPA Monza e Brianza will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Croquembouche already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Croquembouche isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with ENPA Monza e Brianza early rather than rehoming privately; they know Croquembouche and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (IT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
