Sadly, Daisy was taken to be euthanised due to toileting in the house, but her situation sounded very stressful for her and she's been quite clean in her kennel since being rescued by Lurcher Link near Halifax, West Yorkshire, and so she is probably quite capable of being clean in a calmer environment. Daisy is a 7 year old, female, black Lurcher. She is approximately 24″ to the shoulder and weighs about 23kg. She came from a home with several very young children and was finding it very stressful, causing her to toilet in the house and trying to hide. She's actually very friendly with people and not at all shy. It's possible that she would be fine with older children, in a calmer home to the one she came from. Daisy is friendly with other dogs but perhaps hasn’t spent much time around them (she has wanted to get inappropriately close to those she has met), so she would benefit from time spent learning to socialise properly. She is not cat tested, but it's unlikely she would be suitable to live with cats. Daisy needs further training to walk nicely on the lead as she currently pulls. Perhaps this is because she wasn't walked much before, but she travels well in the car. Daisy has just had a season so she can't be neutered yet. She will be neutered as soon as appropriate, or the Rescue would consider her being adopted on a neutering contract (at their expense), if a suitable home comes along before then.
