Dali

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 7 months

Dalí is approximately seven months old and a friendly, sweet puppy who is now looking for his own people. Unfortunately, we do not know anything about his previous history. We cannot say where he spent his first months of life and what he may have already experienced there. Dalí is friendly and sweet to people and is already familiar with children. He gets along well with other dogs and cats are no problem for him either. The young dog already brings great conditions for his future family life. And visually, Dalí is quite a special guy. His predominantly black coat, the small light markings and especially his large, upright ears make him unmistakable. With currently about 14 kg, he is still in the middle of his development and will certainly grow a bit more. At seven months, Dalí is no longer a small puppy, but certainly not yet an adult. He is in the middle of the puppy period and thus in a phase in which the world is particularly exciting and puberty sometimes brings its own ideas. Patience, loving consistency and a portion of humor are therefore essential. The dog ABC must also be further learned and consolidated. Stubbornness, leash training, staying alone, driving and various everyday situations should not be taken for granted by his future people. After his move, much will be completely new for him. Dalí should therefore be allowed to arrive in peace and learn step by step how his new everyday life works. A positively working dog school can be a great support. We wish Dalí people who enjoy accompanying a young and friendly dog on his further way. He wants to discover the world together, learn new things, play and of course just belong. With the right accompaniment, Dalí has the best conditions to develop into a wonderful companion. Dalí travels neutered, chipped, vaccinated, dewormed and flea-free with his EU pet passport to his new home. After a positive preliminary check, he can be placed for a deposit. Maybe your life is missing a Dalí original? This one is only one anyway. Many thanks to the godparents Katrin, who gave Dalí his name. Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Dali

What life with Dali looks like

Dali is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dali, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dali?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dali on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dali if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dali already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dali isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dali and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
