Darja hatte das große Glück, gemeinsam mit ihrer Mutter Luzy und ihren Geschwistern Mecki, Wonka, Bandit und Lilly von unserem Tierschützer Dorel gerettet zu werden. Die kleine Familie lebte an einer vielbefahrenen Straße bei extremer Sommerhitze. Ohne Hilfe hätte ihr Schicksal wohl ganz anders ausgesehen. Mittlerweile ist Darja etwa 4 Monate alt und wird ausgewachsen vermutlich mittelgroß werden. Mit ihrem braunen, etwas borstigen Fell, den dunklen Akzenten und ihrem sanften Blick ist sie eine ganz besondere kleine Hündin. Darja gehört zu den vorsichtigsten Welpen ihrer Familie. Menschen gegenüber ist sie aktuell noch sehr ängstlich. Betritt man den Zwinger, versucht sie zunächst, sich in Sicherheit zu bringen und den Kontakt zu vermeiden. Aggressiv ist sie dabei jedoch zu keiner Zeit. Hat man sie erst einmal behutsam aufgenommen, lässt sie alles ganz lieb und geduldig über sich ergehen. Man spürt, dass sie einfach noch nicht gelernt hat, Menschen zu vertrauen. Auch innerhalb ihrer kleinen Familie nimmt Darja eher die Rolle der stillen Beobachterin ein. Während ihre Geschwister ausgelassen miteinander spielen und toben, sitzt sie häufig etwas abseits und beobachtet das Geschehen lieber aus sicherer Entfernung. Lediglich ihr Bruder Wonka ist ähnlich zurückhaltend. Auch er sucht bei Besuch häufig Schutz unter der Hundehütte, während Darja sich meist in eine ruhige Ecke zurückzieht. Wir sind uns jedoch sicher, dass in Darja viel mehr steckt, als sie aktuell zeigen kann. Sie ist noch jung und hat alle Chancen, Vertrauen aufzubauen und Schritt für Schritt zu einer selbstbewussteren Hündin heranzuwachsen. Dafür braucht sie allerdings Menschen, die sie nicht bedrängen, sondern ihr mit Geduld, Ruhe und Verständnis begegnen und sich auch über kleine Fortschritte freuen. Da Darja noch ein Welpe ist, stehen ihr das Hunde-Einmaleins und auch die Pubertät erst noch bevor. Ihre zukünftige Familie sollte Freude daran haben, sie liebevoll zu begleiten und ihr zu zeigen, dass die Welt gar nicht so beängstigend ist, wie sie im Moment noch glaubt. Ein souveräner Ersthund könnte Darja bei ihrer Entwicklung sicherlich unterstützen und ihr Orientierung geben, ist aber keine Voraussetzung. Nach einer positiven Vorkontrolle kann Darja gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt, entfloht und mit einem EU-Heimtierausweis gegen eine Schutzgebühr in ihr neues Leben reisen. Lieben Dank an Annika S.!
