Delany has seen quite a bit in her life. As an original overseas dog brought to Germany, she ended up in a foster home that had taken in too many shelter dogs. As a result, Delany hasn't had the chance to experience much of what is crucial for a good dog life. Normal walks are still a challenge for Delany, as are vet visits and the everyday handling typical of a pet. She quickly builds trust and makes an effort to overcome her fear. With the right approach, she can be convinced, and currently, she enjoys leisurely walks in quiet surroundings. Her social behavior towards fellow animals is absolutely positive, and we believe she can also be well accustomed to other animals. Cats can be tested, but Delany must be introduced to two-legged creatures with care; the first steps have been taken. People should have the talent to not want anything from her, then she will make contact relatively quickly. Delany needs at most an experienced home for an anxious dog, ideally as a second dog. Children can be part of the family under the right management, but Delany should not be overly overwhelmed during the start phase. A double safety measure at the beginning and until a reliable trust relationship is established should be a given. Who would like to explain to our black snooty boy how wonderful life can be?

Delany hat schon einiges gesehen im Leben. Als ursprünglicher Auslandshund nach Deutschland verbracht, landete sie auf einer Pflegestelle, die sich mit zu vielen Schützlingen übernommen hat. Dadurch hat Delany viel zu wenig erleben dürfen, was für ein gutes Hundeleben enorm wichtig ist. Normale Spaziergänge sind für Delany noch eine Herausforderung, ebenso Tieraztbesuche und das ganz normale Handling im Alltag. Sie fasst schnell Vertrauen und gibt sich Mühe, Ihre Angst schnell zu überwinden. Mit entsprechender Annäherung lässt sie sich gut überzeugen, aktuell genießt sie Gassirundgänge in ruhiger Umgebung. Als absolut positiv ist ihr Sozialverhalten gegenüber Artgenossen einzuschätzen, wir denken, auch an andere Tiere kann man sie gut gewöhnen. Katzen können getestet werden. An den Umgang mit Zweibeinern muss Delany behutsam herangeführt werden, die ersten Schritte sind vollbracht. Menschen sollten das Talent besitzen, nichts von ihr zu wollen, dann nimmt sie relativ zügig Kontakt auf. Delany benötigt bestenfalls ein Angsthund erfahrenes Zuhause, im Ideallfall als Zweithund. Kinder dürfen unter dem entsprechenden Managment gern zur Familie gehören, sollten Delany jedoch besonders in der Startphase nicht überfordern. Die doppelte Sicherung zu Beginn und bis ein verlässliches Vertrauensverhältnis besteht, sollte selbstverständlich sein.
