Initially, he has an energetic pace and sometimes pulls on the leash, but he quickly calms down. He’s not bothered by bad weather and makes an ideal companion for longer hikes and exploratory trips into the unknown. Denver absolutely loves car rides, which is definitely one of his biggest strengths. Occasionally, he jumps up at people, but when asked to sit and rewarded with a tasty treat, he immediately settles down. Food is a great motivator for him. He knows commands such as: sit, give paw, lie down, stay, take the toy, and search. He eagerly uses the tug toy, approaches it himself, and encourages play. He’s a very intelligent dog and loves working closely with humans. He can calmly relax while playing with lick mats and Kong toys. Denver is the perfect dog for active people who enjoy playing together, engaging in various activities, and even participating in dog sports. He’ll be an ideal companion for someone who loves being on the go.
