Dexter was abandoned in front of the shelter, left in a cage without any information. Since then, he has remained extremely distrustful of humans, to the point of adopting a behavior close to the "wild" cat. He does not seek contact, flees human presence and needs a lot of distance to feel safe. Every approach must be gentle, progressive and respectful of its limits. At this stage, it cannot be considered a family cat. We look for a very special home: a patient, experienced person, or a suitable environment (home type with secure space or quiet place) where he can live at his own pace, without constraint. It can evolve over time... or simply find a safe place to exist without fear. This cat is not easy, but it also deserves a chance and a place where it will no longer be abandoned.

Dexter a été abandonné devant le refuge, laissé dans une cage sans aucune information. Depuis, il reste extrêmement méfiant envers l’humain, au point d’adopter un comportement proche du chat "sauvage". Il ne recherche pas le contact, fuit la présence humaine et a besoin de beaucoup de distance pour se sentir en sécurité. Toute approche doit être douce, progressive et respectueuse de ses limites. À ce stade, il ne peut pas être considéré comme un chat “familier”. Nous lui cherchons un foyer très particulier : une personne patiente, expérimentée, ou un environnement adapté (type maison avec espace sécurisé ou lieu calme) où il pourra vivre à son rythme, sans contrainte. Il pourra évoluer avec le temps… ou simplement trouver un endroit sûr où exister sans peur. Ce chat n’est pas “facile”, mais il mérite, lui aussi, une chance et un lieu où il ne sera plus abandonné.
