Dobby, Tic and Toe came back to the animal shelter after 5 years, as a move made further care for the rabbits impossible. Once young teenagers, they have now become seniors, which is quite evident in Dobby. He has grown immensely and boasts a notable size and weight. This should be considered when acquiring a rabbit, and appropriately large rabbit furniture should be available in the hutch. Small houses are not suitable for the big, old gentleman. However, he still has a magical character. Very calm and well-mannered, he can be stroked and will make contact with humans. With rabbits, it's all about the sympathy. He lived with both males and females in his previous home, which worked out very well. At first, he shows dominance, but this settles down after a short time. In the previous group, he lived with Snuffy rabbits, which makes him considered a carrier of the disease and thus can only be rehomed with other affected Snuffy rabbits. He himself shows no symptoms. Here at the shelter, he lives with his partner Toe in the outdoor hutch. Dobby, Tic und Toe kamen nach 5 Jahren wieder zurück ins Tierheim, da ein Umzug die weitere Versorgung der Kaninchen unmöglich machte. Aus den einst jungen Teenager Kaninchen sind nun Senioren geworden, was man Dobby auch sehr ansieht. Er ist riesig geworden und hat eine beachtliche Größe und Gewicht vorzuweisen. Das sollte man vor der Anschaffung beachten und dementsprechend große Kaninchenmöbel im Gehege stehen haben. Kleine Häuser sind nichts für den großen, alten Mann. Charakterlich ist er aber immer noch zauberhaft. Sehr ruhig und gesittet, lässt sich auch mal streicheln und nimmt Kontakt zum Menschen auf. Bei Kaninchen entscheidet die Sympatie. Er hat im vorherigen Zuhause mit Männchen und Weibchen zusammengelebt, was sehr gut klappte. Am Anfang zeigt er sich erstmal dominant, was sich aber nach kurzer Zeit wieder legt. In der vorherigen Gruppe lebte er mit Schnupferkaninchen zusammen, weshalb er als Träger der Erreger angesehen wird und daher nur zu ebenfalls erkrankten Schnupferkaninchen vermittelt wird. Er selber zeigt keine Symptome. Bei uns lebt er mit seiner Partnrin Toe im Außengehege zusammen.
