Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Kimba is looking for a patron so that her foster home can become a permanent placement. Who would like to support us and become Kimba's patron? We received Kimba from a friend animal welfare association. Originally, we wanted to place her in a new home, but now an unexpected opening in a foster home has become available, where Kimba can spend her twilight years under care and potentially be supported by our patrons in case of emergencies. We took her in with some mammary gland enlargements; the first milk nodule has already been removed, and the second will be after the appropriate waiting period. Unfortunately, one of the mammary gland enlargements is malignant, and further spreading cannot be ruled out, although the nearby lymph nodes and blood and lymph vessels are currently tumor-free. Regular medical care and monitoring will be necessary to ensure Kimba a long and dignified life. Originally, she was seized by authorities due to dire living conditions and handed over to animal protection. We do not know more about her past. She is very clingy and often stormy, especially at the beginning of walks. Our shelter can only be used by her in the presence of someone, otherwise, she turns into a climbing machine when she spots bipeds. Therefore, we are happy that Kimba might have a home where she can enjoy 24/7 care, allowing her to forget her past and be offered only the beautiful aspects of life. Regular reports from the home are important to our foster parents, and patrons can look forward to stories and reports from the new home. Who would like to support Kimba and receive occasional updates from her?

About Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211

What life with Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211 looks like

Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211 is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierheim Schkortitz in Grimma.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Schkortitz handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Schkortitz will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Schkortitz early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dogo Argentino Mischling Kimba &#8211 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
