Dolly is only 2 and came into our care through another charity. We don’t know anything about her life but whatever she has experienced has left her a worried soul. She is starting to come over to known handlers and even accepts a little bit of fuss, but adopters should be prepared that it might take her a while to feel comfortable. As we don’t know if she’s been in a home before an introduction to the basics would be a good idea. However we think she’ll be fine being left home alone for a few hours. Dolly is finding the world quite scary at the moment, and would love to find an understanding family who will take things slowly with her. As she is so worried she’d like a quieter, adult-only home so she can start to feel safe. Dolly would be able to live with a calm, confident dog who will act as a role model for her. We will do mixes in centre first to ensure they’re a good match.
