DON VASYL (UM132-25) - kotek wolno żyjący znaleziony na ul. Fosforytowej. Trafił do nas na leczenie. Korzysta z kuwety. Niestety okazało się, że kotka ma kocią białaczke. FiV i FelV to chorby zakaźne, które są groźne tylko dla danego gatunku. Koty z pozytywnymi wynikami nie są więc zagrożeniem dla ludzi czy innych gatunków zwierząt. Kot, który zmaga się z tymi chorobami ma obniżoną odporność, może częściej chorować, łatwiej się przeziębiać. Należy jednak pamiętać, że kot o którego dbamy, który żyje w cieple niekoniecznie musi chorować, może żyć długo i szczęśliwie. Pomocne będzie na pewno stosowanie suplementów diety na odporność.
