Donete seeks happiness—and brings the best prerequisites for it: He is a very friendly, playful male dog who meets people openly and quickly cheers up with his cheerful nature. Visually, he is a real stunner: a black-and-white Podenco mix with a funny mask on his face and the typical large, attentive bat ears that make him an absolute unique. Donete had already lived in a family and knew life in the house: for about three months, he lived there with a five-year-old child. The cohabitation went very well—Donete showed himself playful, patient, and attentive. Unfortunately, the child developed an allergy, and the doctors were unable to gain control over the symptoms, so Donete had to be sent back to the animal shelter of "Mastines en la calle" with heavy hearts. The decision was not easy for the family, and we now wish more than ever for him a permanent home where he can finally belong. At the animal shelter, Donete shows himself as a cheerful "clown": he is curious, energetic, and very people-friendly. He seeks closeness, enjoys being petted, and clearly enjoys cuddle sessions without being pushy. Whoever wants a dog who not only walks along but also makes contact and brings that typical Podenco finesse will have a lot of joy with Donete. Donete gets along well with other dogs in general. He understands female dogs perfectly and shares his pen at the animal shelter. With male dogs, it depends—like so often—on the sympathy. During direct introductions, it usually becomes clear quickly whether the chemistry is right. A confident, calm guidance by the person and controlled encounters help Donete to stay relaxed and orient himself towards his people. Donete is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. With his roughly 23 kg, he has an agreeable, medium-sized build. He is five years old—so no longer a puppy, but beyond puberty. He is playful, eager to learn, and active, yet already with a certain inner calm that makes cohabitation pleasant. A pristine health certificate adorns his fancy blue passport. For Donete, we wish people who have joy in a friendly, uncomplicated companion and can also give him clear, loving guidance. A pre-existing, social only dog—especially a female dog—can fit, but is not a prerequisite. What is most important is that Donete can stay this time before he loses his unbroken trust in people. Donete sucht das Glück – und bringt dafür beste Voraussetzungen mit: Er ist ein sehr freundlicher, lustiger Rüde, der Menschen offen begegnet und mit seiner fröhlichen Art schnell für gute Laune sorgt. Optisch ist er ein echter Hingucker: ein schwarz-weißer Podenco-Mix mit einer witzigen Maske im Gesicht und den typisch großen, aufmerksamen Fledermausohren, die ihn zu einem absoluten Unikum machen. Donete lebte bereits in einer Familie und kennt das Leben im Haus: Rund drei Monate verbrachte er dort mit einem fünfjährigen Kind. Das Zusammenleben verlief sehr schön – Donete zeigte sich verspielt, geduldig und zugewandt. Leider entwickelte das Kind eine Allergie, und die Ärzte wurden den Symptomen nicht wirklich Herr, sodass Donete schweren Herzens zurück ins Tierheim von „Mastines en la calle“ gebracht werden musste. Die Entscheidung fiel der Familie nicht leicht, und umso mehr wünschen wir uns (mit seinen traurigen Adoptanten) nun für ihn ein dauerhaftes Zuhause, in dem er endlich ankommen darf. Im Tierheim zeigt sich Donete als fröhlicher „Clown“: Er ist neugierig, bewegungsfreudig und sehr menschenfreundlich. Er sucht die Nähe, lässt sich gern streicheln und genießt Schmuseeinheiten sichtlich, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Wer sich einen Hund wünscht, der nicht nur mitläuft, sondern auch Kontakt aufnimmt und dabei dieses typische Podenco-Feingefühl mitbringt, wird an Donete viel Freude haben. Mit anderen Hunden kommt Donete grundsätzlich gut zurecht. Mit Hündinnen versteht er sich blendend und teilt im Tierheim auch gern seinen Zwinger. Bei Rüden entscheidet – wie so oft – die Sympathie. Im direkten Kennenlernen zeigt sich meist schnell, ob die Chemie stimmt. Eine souveräne, ruhige Anleitung durch den Menschen und kontrollierte Begegnungen helfen Donete dabei, entspannt zu bleiben und sich an seinen Menschen zu orientieren. Donete ist gesund, geimpft und kastriert. Mit seinen rund 23 kg hat er eine angenehme, mittelgroße Statur. Er ist erst fünf Jahre alt – also kein Welpe mehr, aber aus der Pubertät raus. Er ist verspielt, lernbereit und aktiv, gleichzeitig schon mit einer gewissen inneren Ruhe, die das Zusammenleben angenehm macht. Ein blütenreines Gesundheitszeugnis ziert seinen schicken blauen Reisepass. Für Donete wünschen wir uns Menschen, die Freude an einem freundlichen, unkomplizierten Begleiter haben und ihm gleichzeitig klare, liebevolle Orientierung geben. Ein vorhandener, sozialer Ersthund – besonders eine Hündin – kann passen, ist aber keine Voraussetzung. Wichtig ist vor allem, dass Donete diesmal bleiben darf, bevor er sein ungebrochenes Vertrauen in die Menschen verliert.
