Dorie … Elternzeit beendet

European Shorthair · Female · Kitten · 4 months

Dorie, female, EKH, black and white, born 01/01/2023, height 25 cm, weight 3 kg, castrated, since 07/16/2026, from Neukirchen-Vluyn, September 2026 Dorie came to us with her three kittens, who have since moved to their own homes. After her spaying, Dorie is now ready for a home. The slender cat, estimated to be three years old, was very nice to us from the start. One could think that she really enjoyed the "room service and catering" time in the "mother-child home". Unfortunately, spontaneous visits are not possible. If you are interested in Dorie, please contact the staff for a phone consultation from Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 17:00 and Saturday from 13:00 to 16:00. We ask that you adhere to these times, as they are outside of regular office hours.

About Dorie … Elternzeit beendet

What life with Dorie … Elternzeit beendet looks like

Dorie … Elternzeit beendet is a puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Tierheim Moers in Moers.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dorie … Elternzeit beendet, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dorie … Elternzeit beendet?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Moers handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dorie … Elternzeit beendet on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dorie … Elternzeit beendet if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Moers will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dorie … Elternzeit beendet already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dorie … Elternzeit beendet isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Moers early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dorie … Elternzeit beendet and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
