In the meantime, the very reserved cat has adapted a bit, and we were able to photograph her. We know that Freya has let her finders pet her. Even though we have not been able to earn this status ourselves, it shows that she can generally trust people. As is often the case with very reserved cats, this cannot be generalized but must be related to individual people… each person must earn this trust step by step. Freya clearly shows that outdoors is her "home." She should be given the opportunity for a longer acclimation period to be released for a walk in an appropriate environment. Spontaneous visits are unfortunately not possible. For inquiries about Freya, the mediating colleagues are available for telephone consultations from Monday to Friday from 14 – 17 hours and on Saturday from 13 – 16 hours. This cat needs outdoor access.

Inzwischen hat die sehr zurückhaltende Katze sich etwas eingelebt und wir durften sie ablichten. Wir wissen, dass Freya sich von ihren Findern hat streicheln lassen. Auch wenn wir uns diesen Status bisher nicht erarbeiten konnten, zeigt das, dass sie grundsätzlich Menschen vertrauen kann. Wie oft bei sehr zurückhaltenden Katzen ist das nicht zu verallgemeinern, sondern immer nur auf einzelne Personen bezogen … jeder muss sich dieses Vertrauen kleinschrittig erarbeiten. Freya zeigt sehr deutlich, dass draußen ihr “Zuhause” ist. Sie sollte nach einer längeren Eingewöhnungszeit die Möglichkeit zum Freigang in einem dafür geeigneten Umfeld erhalten. Spontane Besuche sind leider nicht möglich. Bei Interesse an Freya stehen die vermittelnden Kollegen für telefonische Erstgespräche von Montag bis Freitag von 14 – 17 Uhr und Samstag von 13 – 16 Uhr zur Verfügung.
