Poes Ducky (geschatte geboortedatum 6-11-2024) hebben we in april van dit jaar gevonden en wij verzorgen haar sindsdien met veel liefde en respect. Ze is behoorlijk bang. Dat laat ze duidelijk zien in haar houding.: “O hellup, wie ben jij? Kijk naar mijn grote ogen en platte oren. Stop. Kom. Niet. Dichterbij.” Komen we toch een stapje te dichtbij, dan geeft Ducky haar grens aan door flink te blazen en te slaan. Er zal nog enige tijd nodig zijn voor het socialiseren van Ducky. Het fijnste voor Ducky is dit in een rustige, stabiele omgeving zodat ze wat makkelijker het vertrouwen in mensen zal vinden. Een huisje met (kleine) kinderen en/of honden past daar niet bij. Wij denken dat het Ducky helpt wanneer er een andere kat-sociale kat aanwezig zal zijn. Een fijn kameraadje om van te leren en mee op te trekken.
