Eammon

Cane Corso · Male · Puppy · 9 months

Eammon is a lovable, fun spirited young Bull Breed bursting with enthusiasm and charm. He is based at our Old Windsor centre. Eammon needs an active home with new owners who understand bull breed traits and their lovable personalities. A secure garden, plenty of exercise, and regular mental stimulation will help him thrive. Because of his enthusiasm, he’s better suited to adults or families with older teens. He is very food and toy motivated which will come in handy for his ongoing training. He particularly loves soft toys and rubber tennis balls; he has a signature move where he will roll around on his back with a toy in his mouth. Eammon is still learning manners in different situations and can be excitable, so he’ll benefit from consistent boundaries and an owner who enjoys working with a smart, driven dog. On the lead he’s strong and curious, and we feel he’ll do best with someone confident who can guide him calmly. He is friendly around other dogs and enjoys a play, he has been known to be quite over the top and does not always know when to calm down. He will need ongoing socialisation and learn calm and positive interactions. Due to this we feel Eammon will need to be the only pet in the household. Eammon is ready to start a new chapter with his new family who understands his energy and sees the loving, loyal companion he’s becoming. About Eammon

What life with Eammon looks like

Eammon is a large puppy/kitten cane corso dog waiting at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in London.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Eammon, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Eammon?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Battersea Dogs & Cats Home handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Eammon on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Eammon if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Battersea Dogs & Cats Home will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Eammon already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Eammon isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home early rather than rehoming privately; they know Eammon and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
