Ebony & Emely

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 2 months

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LOCAL HOME IN MALAGA ONLY. These two sisters are from a litter of 7 puppies, which were caught when they were about 8 weeks old. We put them in foster but had to come to our shelter when they got older. In the meantime they were already a year old but terribly afraid of people. With a lot of patience they got both confidence back again. They remain afraid of strangers, but once they know you, they prefer to sit on your lap. We are looking for a family that has experience with anxious dogs. Someone who understands and can still give them a great life. They trust the volunteers who walk with them. They walk neatly on leash and are good with other dogs. We need to carry on maintaining a good quality of life for our shelter dogs. Any donation small or large will be gratefully received. About Ebony & Emely

What life with Ebony & Emely looks like

Ebony & Emely is a large puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Last Chance Animal Rescue Spain in Last Chance Malaga.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ebony & Emely, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ebony & Emely?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Last Chance Animal Rescue Spain handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ebony & Emely on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ebony & Emely if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Last Chance Animal Rescue Spain will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Ebony & Emely already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ebony & Emely isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Last Chance Animal Rescue Spain early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ebony & Emely and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
