Eddie and Earnest

Male · Baby

Eddie (the mottled one) and Ernest are just 4 months old and full of personality! These little boys were originally found on a selling site and came to us via an auction. They were understandably quite nervous at first, but since arriving in a safe and loving environment, they’ve come on in leaps and bounds. They’re now happily taking treats from your hand and growing more confident every day. Mischief is definitely their specialty - they love digging, spinning away in their wheel, and making the most of the good life! These two are looking for a forever home with: Humans who will absolutely spoil them rotten They are currently at Justice for Gerbils Sanctuary in Stafford (ST16). Adoption is subject to a video call home check. If you think you could offer Eddie and Ernest their perfect forever home, please contact Anna on

Frequently asked

Adopting Eddie and Earnest, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Eddie and Earnest?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Eddie and Earnest on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Eddie and Earnest if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a animal can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Eddie and Earnest already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a animal comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch directly what is included and what Eddie and Earnest still needs.
What happens if Eddie and Earnest isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Eddie and Earnest and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
