Elli is friendly, lively, and playful. When meeting unfamiliar dogs, she is a bit unsure at first, but that changes quickly. Elli reacts strongly to movement stimuli, whether it's cyclists, joggers, or cars. We are working on this, and it has improved a lot, but this behavior does not disappear overnight, and the training must continue. Elli needs people who can show her in a fair and proper way that they take the lead and that she can relax because the human controls things. She is therefore not a beginner dog but needs people who know what they are doing. With the right handling, Elli is a nice dog buddy who likes to be with people and seeks and needs a lot of closeness. For smaller children, Elli is too stormy, as her overall behavior is more robust.

Elli ist Kontaktfreudig, lebhaft und verspielt. Bei fremden Hunden ist sie im ersten Moment etwas unsicher, das gibt sich aber schnell. Elli reagiert stark auf Bewegungsreize, seien es Fahrradfahrer, Jogger oder Autos. Wir sind dran daran zu arbeiten und es ist auch schon vieles besser geworden, aber dieses Verhalten löst sich nicht von Heute auf Morgen und das Training muss daher weitergeführt werden. Elli braucht Menschen, die ihr auf faire Art und Weise zeigen, dass sie die Führung übernehmen und sie sich ruhig zurück lehnen kann, weil der Mensch die Dinge regelt. Sie ist also kein Anfängerhund, sondern braucht Menschen die wissen was sie tun. Mit dem richtigen Umgang ist Elli ein netter Hundekumpel, der gerne beim Menschen ist und viel Nähe sucht und braucht. Für kleinere Kinder ist Elli zu stürmisch, denn ihr Verhalten ist insgesamt eher als robust zu bezeichnen.
