A secure garden is essential for Elvis so he can enjoy safe home and garden time while he settles and builds confidence. Elvis is learning how to enjoy walks on a lead and has started enjoying little potters in his foster home but any future adventures will need to begin at home once trust has been built, with road walks, busier areas and car travel introduced gradually over time. Elvis would be happiest in a smaller residential or rural location rather than a busy town or city, with low visitor levels initially while he adjusts to homelife. He could live with sensible secondary school aged children who understand the importance of giving him space, and would be happiest living with a fellow doggy friend or 2, given introductions at the centre. Elvis is a lovely young Poodle cross, who needs patient adopters that can introduce the world gently at his own pace. He is a gentle, nervous boy whose sweet side shines brighter with every day. Elvis gains huge reassurance from other confident dogs and he absolutely loves being close and snuggling with his doggy friends. He has begun accepting fuss and often jumps up to lick his favourite peoples faces!
