Elza is a calm, smiling female dog who shows, through every aspect of her being, how much she loves people. She is the heroine of our campaign, and her dream is simple – to find someone who will love her as she is. Though fate hasn't been kind to her health, we won't give up. And we believe that somewhere there is someone who won't be scared by her age, medications, or illness. During a routine check-up, we discovered a tumor with metastases in Elza. Due to her age and the accompanying health issues – hip dysplasia and heart enlargement – Elza has been put on palliative treatment. She takes daily medications that help her function comfortably. Despite all this, she is still full of warmth, love, and... life. This female dog would fit perfectly into a quiet home with a garden. We can already imagine her lounging on the porch in the sun, and in the evenings snuggling up to a soft bed right next to your couch to spend time together. Elza: she loves leash walks, is positively disposed towards other dogs (though she can be a little jealous of humans – it will be important to have calm introductions), is indifferent towards cats, and excels at being in the company of children, especially those who can respect her peace. Now more than ever, she needs a home – not just for her old age, but for a worthy, safe home now. Elza to spokojna, uśmiechnięta psia dama, która całym sobą pokazuje, jak bardzo kocha ludzi. Jest bohaterką naszej akcji , a jej marzenie jest proste – znaleźć kogoś, kto pokocha ją taką, jaka jest. Choć los nie oszczędził jej zdrowia, my się nie poddajemy. I wierzymy, że gdzieś jest ktoś, kto nie przestraszy się ani wieku, ani leków, ani choroby. Podczas rutynowej kontroli wykryliśmy u Elzy nowotwór z przerzutami. Ze względu na wiek i choroby towarzyszące – dysplazję stawów biodrowych i powiększenie sylwetki serca – Elza została objęta leczeniem paliatywnym. Na co dzień przyjmuje leki, które pomagają jej funkcjonować komfortowo. Mimo tego wszystkiego wciąż jest pełna ciepła, miłości i... życia. To sunia, która świetnie odnalazłaby się w spokojnym domu z ogrodem. Już widzimy, jak wyleguje się na tarasie w słońcu, a wieczorami wtula się w miękkie posłanie tuż obok Waszej kanapy, by wspólnie spędzić czas. Elza: uwielbia spacery na smyczy, jest pozytywnie nastawiona do innych psów (choć bywa zazdrosna o człowieka – ważne będą spokojne zapoznania), jest obojętna wobec kotów, świetnie odnajduje się w towarzystwie dzieci, zwłaszcza tych, które potrafią uszanować jej spokój.
