Epic: een vrolijke, vriendelijke en tevreden Old English Bulldog knul van 10 jaar jong die opzoek is naar een gouden mandje. Epic is recent door mensen overgenomen en zij wilden toch niet de zorg voor hem dragen die hij nodig heeft en zo is hij bij ons binnen gekomen. Voor hem gaan we nu opzoek naar een gouden mandje. Epic is een hele vriendelijke hond hier tegen iedereen die bij hem komt. Hij vindt het heerlijk om met je te knuffelen en bij je te zien. Ook gaat hij ondanks zijn leeftijd nog graag met je mee om wandelingetjes te maken. Epic vindt het geweldig om met een (voet)bal te spelen en kan hier helemaal in op gaan! Soms moeten wij het na een tijdje even afpakken omdat hij in zijn hoofd dan geen oudere hond is 😉. Epic heeft hier kennis gemaakt met teven, reuen en ook een ongecastreerde reu en daar reageerde hij allemaal goed op. Ook hebben wij gekeken hoe hij op katten reageert en dat is ook geen probleem voor hem. Epic is bij de dierenarts geweest om helemaal nagekeken te worden en het bleek dat hij een tumor bij zijn testikels had. We hebben dit uiteraard laten weghalen. Ook is hij direct onder de röntgen geweest en hierop zagen wij wat we al vermoeden, dat hij flink wat artrose heeft in zijn lijf. Maar hij is heel vrolijk en daarom hebben we besloten in overleg met de dierenarts dat hij met pijnstilling nog prima een tijdje kan en mag genieten van zijn leven. Ook is Epic doof. Hij heeft hier zelf geen hinder van, alleen is het voor zijn toekomstige baasjes mogelijk even wennen. Ondanks Epic sociaal is naar iedereen, plaatsen we hem niet in een gezin met kinderen onder de 14. Hij heeft ook echt zijn rust nodig en ook is hij erg fanatiek als je speelgoed hebt en hij bedoelt hier niks mee, maar als jonge kinderen spelen met een bal of ander speelgoed is dat mogelijk wat onhandig. Als er kinderen op bezoek komen zal dit geen probleem zijn. Voor Epic zoeken wij lieve mensen die hem nog een laatste huisje geven. Die wandelingetjes met hem maken, zijn pijnstillers geven en verder gewoon gaan genieten van deze vriendelijke en vrolijke knul.
