Epsilon came to his current foster home in early November along with his sister Delta. At first, he was very shy, but gradually, while eating, he began to allow brushing and now he even comes to ask for pets by pushing his head into your hand and purring softly. Sometimes he may even end up being petted in a person's arms. Epsilon is estimated to have been born on 1.8.2025, a small tabby cat. Epsilon is really energetic and loves especially playing with toys and wrestling with Delta. This little fur ball has endless energy and is excited to explore everything new. However, during a health check-up, a heart murmur was detected, for which an ultrasound has been scheduled. This has not slowed him down at all. In the December ultrasound, it was found that Epsilon has a rare ventricular septal defect that puts strain on the heart. Due to this, there is a mild enlargement of the left ventricle, clear enlargement of the right atrium, and a very mild enlargement of the right ventricle as well as increased pressure rise in the right ventricle. Additionally, there is a 3/4 leak through the valve. Epsilon will have a control ultrasound in 6 months to see if there is a need to start medication. Also, sterilization will be handled after this ultrasound, according to the veterinarian's recommendation. The heart defect will probably affect Epsilon's lifespan, because it is so pronounced already at such a young age. Epsilon is looking for a home that commits to monitoring and treating the disease and is ready to familiarize themselves with the symptoms of the disease. Even if the disease remains "under control," Epsilon must be checked regularly. Epsilon is looking for a home where there would be another active cat as a companion who is not startled by Epsilon's slightly clumsy approach. Epsilon will also be neutered before moving to his new home. Epsilon on tullut nykyiseen ensikotiinsa marraskuun alkupuolella siskonsa Deltan kanssa. Alkuun hän oli tosi varuillaan, mutta pikku hiljaa ruokailuen yhteydessä hän alkoi sallia silittelyn ja nykyään tulee pyytämään rapsutuksia käteen puskemalla ja hennosti maukumalla. Välillä hän saattaa jopa jäädä rapsuteltavaksi ihmisen syliin. Epsilon on arviolta 1.8.2025 syntynyt pikkuinen rämäpää. Luonteeltaan Epsilon on todella energinen ja hän rakastaa erityisesti sulkaleluja sekä Deltan kanssa painimista. Tällä pikku karvapallolla riittää aivan loputtomasti energiaa ja hän on innoissaan tutkimassa kaikkea uutta. Sydänvika tulee todennäköisesti vaikuttamaan hänen elinikäänsä, koska se on niin huomattavan voimakas jo näin pienenä. Epsilonin etsiikin kotia, joka sitoutuu sairauden seurantaan ja hoitamiseen sekä on valmis perehtymään sairauden oirekuvaan. Vaikka sairaus pysyisikin ”kurissa”, tulee Epsilonia käyttää säännöllisesti kontrolleissa.
