E RNI (POA) – SENIOR - male dog, neutered, born ca. 2015, shoulder height ca. 50cm ERNI is one of the dogs at the animal shelter who goes for walks with school children once a week. He walks nicely on a leash. To warm up to us humans, he needs some time. We get the impression that he is not overly people-oriented; he rather lets cuddles happen to him. But he does come to us on his own, following us. It is clear that it is not so bad to be stroked and spoken to nicely. A calm, composed dog who, according to the caregiver, gets along very well with other dogs. He is housed in a pen with male dogs and female dogs. (04/2026, B/C)

E RNI (POA) – SENIOR - Rüde, kastriert, geb. ca. 2015, Schulterhöhe ca. 50cm Erni ist einer der Hunde im Tierheim, der mit den Schulkindern spazieren geht, die 1x wöchentlich zu Gassi gehen ins Tierheim kommen. Er läuft problemlos an der Leine. Um mit uns Fremden warm zu werden, braucht er etwas Zeit. Wir haben erst den Eindruck, dass er nicht übermäßig menschbezogen ist; Streicheleinheiten eher über sich ergehen lässt. Dann kommt er aber doch von sich aus hinter uns her. Es ist offensichtlich doch nicht so schlecht, gestreichelt zu werden und nett angesprochen zu werden. Ein ruhiger, gelassener Hund, der sich lt. Pflegerin sehr gut mit anderen Hunden versteht. Er sitzt mit Rüden und Hündinnen zusammen in einem Zwinger. (04/2026, B/C)
