Eva

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Puppy · 7 months

A good friend of our rescuer saw two pups sitting by the road on the way. Of course, these two sisters were brought to safety. They are now with Timea and are receiving all the well-deserved care. Eva is now (20mrt24) about 7 months old. It is expected that she will grow into a nice medium-sized dog, but we are not certain. Unfortunately, we do not know the parents. Timea says that Eva is very friendly and playful, social and a real family dog. Photos and videos Eva is looking for a nice home ❤️ Size: will be about 50 cm Born: 2023 Neutered: not yet due to age Accommodation: Sovata, Romania Cats: unknown Horses: unknown Temperament: friendly, playful We think Eva can develop into a nice house dog with your help! Een goede vriend van onze rescuer zag onderweg 2 pups vlak langs de weg zitten. Natuurlijk zijn deze 2 zusjes in veiligheid gebracht. Ze verblijven nu bij Timea en krijgen al de welverdiende zorg. Eva is nu (20mrt24) ongeveer 7 maanden oud. About Eva

What life with Eva looks like

Eva is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Stichting Help een Hond in Netherlands.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Eva, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Eva?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Stichting Help een Hond handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Eva on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Eva if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Stichting Help een Hond will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Eva already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Eva isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Stichting Help een Hond early rather than rehoming privately; they know Eva and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
