Evita is a nearly 6-year-old Mastin female who has been with us for 1.5 years. Her start in life was difficult - she was found abandoned, chained up and left to her fate, along with two other dogs. But Evita has left that difficult period behind and is now ready to start a new chapter. Evita is a large, stately dog with a calm and thoughtful character. She takes her time to observe and wants to keep you at arm's length, both literally and figuratively, but if you gain her trust, she slowly opens her heart. She is faithful, vigilant and extremely loyal - a true Mastin at heart. Her trust is not won in a day, but whoever is willing to give her the time will get an incredibly loyal friend in return. Evita needs experience. She is not suitable for a busy household or people without knowledge of the breed. She needs a quiet, stable environment and a companion who wants to help her grow in self-confidence and world knowledge. Her vigilance makes her an excellent guard dog - she doesn't just let strangers in, but for her people she would go through fire. Evita is een bijna 6-jarige Mastin dame die al 1,5 jaar bij ons verblijft. Haar start in het leven was hard – ze werd samen met twee andere honden zwaar verwaarloosd aangetroffen, vastgeketend en aan haar lot overgelaten. Maar Evita heeft die moeilijke periode achter zich gelaten en is nu klaar om aan een nieuw hoofdstuk te beginnen. Evita is een grote, statige hond met een kalm en bedachtzaam karakter. Ze kijkt eerst de kat uit de boom en wil je letterlijk en figuurlijk op afstand houden, maar als ze je vertrouwt, opent ze langzaam haar hart. Ze is trouw, waakzaam en enorm loyaal – een echte Mastin in hart en nieren.
