Adopt Falco (Welpe bei Olivia)

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 4 years

Name: Falco. Breed: Segugio Mix Age: born March 2022. Gender: male Size: will be medium-sized. Neutered/Sterilized: too young yet Location / Country: Italy Description Falco – Looking for a Home Falco and his 6 siblings were born as puppies to a well-cared-for female dog. Their mother lives with an elderly lady in Italy. The lady helped her female dog raise the unplanned puppies. However, she now lacks the strength and money to continue caring for and placing the puppies. For this reason, a kind animal rescuer has taken Falco and his siblings under her care. Falco and his little siblings are perfectly socialized, not at all timid, always looking for cuddles, and consistently cheerful. The seven puppies have a strong desire to play and interact with our human world. Falco and his 6 siblings have clearly learned well from their mother. All seven are very suitable for growing up and living in families with children. Of course, all family members should either have a connection to animals or dogs, or be raised to have one. What connects Falco and his six siblings – it’s no problem for all of them to live with other dogs and/or cats; they have wonderful characters. It’s practically impossible not to fall in love with Falco and the other six adorable puppies at first sight. All seven puppies are healthy, have been examined by a vet, and will be dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Has Falco or one of his siblings captured your heart? Would you like to give one or more of the seven a loving and protective home? We look forward to your message! Cat-friendly: unknown. Compatible with fellow animals: with male dogs, with female dogs Contact person: Frau Gerlinde Kolubka Email: « Eva Sally (from Olivia) ». Gets along with other dogs.

Name: Falco.

About Falco (Welpe bei Olivia)

What life with Falco (Welpe bei Olivia) looks like

Falco (Welpe bei Olivia) is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Adozioni del cuore e.V. in Wedel.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Falco (Welpe bei Olivia), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Falco (Welpe bei Olivia)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Adozioni del cuore e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Falco (Welpe bei Olivia) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Falco (Welpe bei Olivia) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Adozioni del cuore e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Falco (Welpe bei Olivia) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Falco (Welpe bei Olivia) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Adozioni del cuore e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Falco (Welpe bei Olivia) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
