Fanny

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 3 months

Fanny had great luck together with her mom Birka and her siblings Jax and Hestia. The little family was found on a busy street - a very dangerous place for a female dog with her young puppies. Unfortunately, one of the sisters was even hit by a car and had to be taken to a clinic. Fortunately, Fanny, her mom and the siblings were rescued and brought to safety in time. Upon arrival at the shelter, the little ones were initially completely unsure. They did not know what was happening to them and whether they were actually safe here. Now they can first arrive and slowly gain trust before the next step begins in a home of their own. Fanny is a charming young female dog with a loving look and beautiful golden beige fur. She is still small and clumsy and must first learn about the big world. Whoever gives her a little time and security will surely discover what a great companion she has in her. Like every puppy, Fanny still has a lot to learn. Housebreaking, leash training, driving, staying alone and the many small rules of living together are still new to her. Her future people should therefore have patience, time and joy in accompanying her lovingly and consistently through life. Puberty will also come at some point and will certainly bring one or the other challenge. With understanding, clear guidance and a positively working dog school, Fanny can grow into a wonderful companion for life. We wish Fanny people who give her the security she has needed so much and who show her patiently how beautiful a home can be. She should finally experience how it feels to really be arrived. Fanny travels chipped, vaccinated, dewormed and dewormed with her EU pet passport. After a positive preliminary check, she can be placed for a deposit. A foster home would also be a nice first step into a happy future. Many thanks to Katrin and Peter for your sponsorship. Thanks to this, Fanny can not only look forward to a pretty name, but also has the chance to get a family. Status: 22.08.2026 Further information on the topic of preliminary check and deposit

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank Nele P.! Du unterstützt Nele mit einer monatlichen Patenschaft! Stand: 22.08.2026 Weitere Informationen zum Thema Vorkontrolle und Schutzgebühr

About Fanny

What life with Fanny looks like

Fanny is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fanny, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fanny?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fanny on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fanny if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fanny already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fanny isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fanny and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
