Lively Animal World on the Roof of the Potsdam Animal Shelter A puppy has settled comfortably in its hut and is attentively observing the happenings on the parking lot. A cat is peeking, ready to spring, from the greenery all around. A blue tit is on insect hunt, and a rabbit sits curiously beside a mighty oak – a lively animal world has populated the front gable facade of the Potsdam Animal Shelter since Monday. Fields, hills, clouds, and a blue sky form a picturesque backdrop. Of course, the bold lettering "animal shelter Potsdam" is not missing. The artwork was created by fans of the Berlin football club Hertha BSC as a donation. The free-time artists go by names like MC Bogy, Dejoe, Hoomzer, Left, Hema, ZkeS23, Zone, or Reno1892. They sprayed the artwork on Sunday and Monday until late in the evening. They, their families, and friends have also donated money and goods to the animal welfare association. The Blue-Whites want to use their action to raise further donations needed for the continuation of the animal shelter expansion. Lustige Tierwelt auf Giebel des Tierheimes Potsdam Ein Hündchen hat es sich in seiner Hütte bequem gemacht und beobachtet aufmerksam das Geschehen auf dem Parkplatz. Eine Katze späht sprungbereit aus dem Grün ringsum. Eine Blaumeise ist auf Insektensuche, und ein Hase sitzt neugierig blickend neben einem mächtigen Laubbaum – eine lustige Tierwelt ist es, die seit Montag die vordere Giebelfassade des Potsdamer Tierheimes bevölkert. Wiesen, Hügel, Wolken und blauer Himmel bilden eine malerische Kulisse. In knallenden Farben fehlt natürlich der Schriftzug Tierheim Potsdam nicht. Geschaffen haben das Kunstwerk Fans des Berliner Fußballklubs Hertha BSC als Spende. Die Freizeitkünstler führen Namen wie MC Bogy, Dejoe, Hoomzer, Left, Hema, ZkeS23, Zone oder Reno1892. Sie haben am Sonntag und Montag bis in die Abendstunden gesprüht. Sie, ihre Angehörigen und Freunde haben außerdem dem Tierschutzverein Geld- und Sachspenden übergeben. Die Blauweißen wollen mit ihrer Aktion für weitere Spenden werben, die der Tierschutzverein für die Fortsetzung Tierheimausbaus benötigt. Das Team des Tierheimes Potsdam freut sich sehr über die Idee und noch mehr darüber, wie die Hertha-Fans sich ins Zeug gelegt haben. Fotos: © Tierheim Potsdam
