Fee (born 02/2019) is a female dog of about 50 cm in height who is currently living in a boarding facility in Romania. There, she deteriorated considerably over a long period, both physically and emotionally. Meanwhile, she is showing small but important progress: she has fortunately lost the extreme excess weight, and she appears physically more stable and resilient. Although she remains very withdrawn, she now allows careful attempts at contact – a quiet but meaningful step for a dog with her history. Fee was rescued from the Cornetu kill shelter. She gave birth to six puppies while heavily pregnant, but none of them survived. This traumatic experience and her difficult living conditions have left deep emotional scars. At the boarding facility, she was supposed to settle down, but instead she withdrew more and more. That is why the new photos and impressions are like a "small light at the end of the tunnel." For a long time, Fee lived together with an older male dog, who was a quiet constant for her. Since he is now able to move out, Fee too should finally get a chance – his departure could place additional strain on her. About two years ago, Fee is said to have fatally injured a female dog she had lived with for a longer period. The exact circumstances have not been fully established or clarified; the conditions on site, stress, overwhelm, and lack of supervision most likely played a significant role. Unfortunately, the boarding facility has provided us with little to no precise information about the incident, so it is impossible to fully reconstruct how it happened. Precisely because we do not know how this tragic accident came about, we want to rule out any risk. Given her current living circumstances on site, we assume that Fee copes considerably better with living alongside a male dog, and that this arrangement creates less potential for conflict for her. For this reason, we are looking for a foster home without a female dog in the household, ideally with single-dog living or with a confident male dog. Equally important is the ability to securely separate her, so that Fee can be protected in any situation – and so can other dogs. A clearly structured setup, physical separation when needed, and a household that can reliably implement such safety measures are indispensable for us. Given her history and current condition, direct adoption is not an option for Fee. She needs time, experienced people, and an environment that can gently prepare her for life outside the boarding facility. We are looking for people who recognize her needs, respect her pace, and are willing to help stabilize her with professional support before considering a permanent placement.

Fee (geb. 02/2019) ist eine etwa 50 cm große Hündin, die derzeit in einer Pension in Rumänien lebt. Dort hat sie lange Zeit körperlich wie seelisch stark abgebaut.Inzwischen zeigt sie kleine, aber wichtige Fortschritte: Das extreme Übergewicht hat sie glücklicherweise reduziert, sie wirkt körperlich stabiler und belastbarer. Auch wenn sie weiterhin sehr in sich gekehrt bleibt, lässt sie inzwischen behutsame Kontaktaufnahme zu – ein leiser, aber bedeutsamer Schritt für einen Hund mit ihrer Geschichte.Fee wurde aus der Tötung Cornetu gerettet. Hochträchtig brachte sie sechs Welpen zur Welt, doch keiner von ihnen überlebte. Dieses traumatische Erlebnis und die schwierigen Lebensumstände haben tiefe seelische Spuren hinterlassen. In der Pension sollte sie eigentlich zur Ruhe kommen, doch stattdessen zog sie sich immer weiter zurück. Daher sind die neuen Fotos und Eindrücke wie ein „kleines Licht am Ende eines Tunnels“.Seit längerem lebt Fee mit einem älteren Rüden zusammen, der ihr eine stille Konstante war. Da dieser nun ausziehen darf, sollte auch Fee endlich eine Chance bekommen – denn sein Weggang könnte sie wieder zusätzlich belasten.Fee soll vor etwa zwei Jahren eine Hündin, mit der sie zuvor über längere Zeit zusammenlebte, tödlich verletzt haben. Die genauen Hintergründe sind nicht vollständig nachvollziehbar und geklärt; die Bedingungen vor Ort, Stress, Überforderung und fehlende Betreuung könnten mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit eine wesentliche Rolle gespielt haben. Leider haben wir seitens der Pension mehr oder weniger keine genauen Informationen zu dem Vorfall erhalten, um nachvollziehen zu können, wie es zu diesem Vorfall gekommen ist.Gerade weil wir nicht wissen, wie es zu diesem tragischen Unglück gekommen ist, möchten wir jedes Risiko ausschließen. Aufgrund der aktuellen Lebensumstände vor Ort gehen wir davon aus, dass Fee das Zusammenleben mit einem Rüden deutlich besser bewältigt und diese Konstellation für sie weniger Konfliktpotenzial erzeugt.Deshalb suchen wir eine Pflegestelle ohne Hündin im Haushalt, idealerweise in Einzelhaltung oder mit einem souveränen Rüden. Ebenso wichtig ist die Möglichkeit der sicheren Separierung, damit Fee in jeder Situation geschützt werden kann – und andere Hunde ebenfalls. Ein klar strukturierter Rahmen, räumliche Trennung bei Bedarf und ein Haushalt, der solche Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zuverlässig umsetzen kann, sind für uns unverzichtbar.Aufgrund ihrer Vorgeschichte und ihres aktuellen Zustands kommt für Fee keine Direktadoption in Frage. Sie braucht Zeit, erfahrene Menschen und ein Umfeld, das sie behutsam auf das Leben außerhalb der Pension vorbereiten kann. Menschen, die ihre Bedürfnisse erkennen, ihr Tempo respektieren und bereit sind, sie fachlich begleitet zu stabilisieren, bevor an eine endgültige
