Feli

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Kitten

Our animal welfare workers report: Our animal rescuer found the poor, red cat helpless on the street, hungry and exhausted. She was missing several teeth, likely having been kicked and injured by mean people on the street. It’s not clear how the poor creature managed the daily struggle for survival, but she must have somehow made it, albeit not well. Her guardian angel was our animal rescuer, who picked up Feli at the beginning of May 2026. The friendly kitten went along willingly and came to a private animal shelter where she gets along well with several fellow animals. Feli was neutered right away, and her remaining teeth are in good condition. In principle, Feli, after proper adjustment, would be suitable as an outdoor cat, but she could also live in a home with a secure balcony. Regular fresh air and the change of seasons, at least on a balcony, should be enjoyed by the red tiger. Who would like to rescue this brave, survival fighter and give her a worry-free life?😘 Please note:

About Feli

What life with Feli looks like

Feli is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Tierischgeholfen e.V. in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Feli, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Feli?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierischgeholfen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Feli on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Feli if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierischgeholfen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Feli already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Feli isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierischgeholfen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Feli and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
