Adopt FIETE

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 10 months

FIETE is a 2-year-old neutered male dog, who quickly wins hearts with his charming character. He is an easy-going companion who enjoys the company of his humans and loves to be wherever they are. FIETE gets along well with other dogs and can therefore be kept as a second dog without problems. FIETE also brings his own unique personality: a bit stubborn, confident, and likes to be first. If something doesn't suit him, he makes it clear by barking - a real little headstrong character. FIETE walks very nicely on a leash and training in a rural environment is already reliable. In daily life, he is pleasant and calms down well, which makes him a great companion. FIETE is suitable as a family dog, with children being able to stand firm. He is also suitable for beginners, provided they are ready to give him loving but consistent clear rules and to take his dachshund-like stubborn head with humor. Anyone looking for a loyal, cheerful and strong-willed dog will find a wonderful companion in FIETE.

About FIETE

What life with FIETE looks like

FIETE is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Arche Noah Transilvania e.V. in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting FIETE, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about FIETE?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Arche Noah Transilvania e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw FIETE on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt FIETE if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Arche Noah Transilvania e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is FIETE already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if FIETE isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Arche Noah Transilvania e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know FIETE and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
