As a puppy, he was rehomed and got little to no experience, which made him frustrated and distant. He was then sent away again. Now we have essentially started from scratch, and our beautiful male dog has already shown some progress. Hermann has the great fortune of being taken under the wing of two professional dog trainers at his current foster home. His training plan currently includes waiting and holding out when he’s not supposed to, as he still shows a lot of insecurity. Hermann is often in free roam. Things generally go well with other animals, preferably with female dogs. We are looking for a rural home for Hermann with experienced dog owners without small children. Hermann enjoys working. He could be inspired for nose work like object search, tracking, or mantrailing, which would also provide him with meaningful cognitive stimulation. Herman can be visited at his foster home upon arrangement.

Als Welpe vermittelt , wenig kennengelernt, keine Grenzen erfahren, wurde er frustriert und distanzlos und dann sollte er wieder weg. Nun haben wir sozusagen bei Null angefangen und mittlerweile zeigt der wunderschöne Rüde auch schon einige Fortschritte. Hermann hat das große Glück auf seiner jetzigen Pflegestelle von zwei Hundetrainerinnen an die “Hand” genommen zu werden. Sein Trainingsplan beinhaltet derzeit Warten und aushalten, wenn er nicht dran ist Alltagstraining, da er sich noch sehr unsicher zeigt Hermann ist viel im Freilauf. Mit Artgenossen klappt es größtenteils gut. Vorzugsweise mit Hündinnen. Für Hermann suchen wir ein ländliches Zuhause bei erfahrenen Hundehaltern ohne kleine Kinder. Hermann hat Lust zu arbeiten. Für Nasenarbeit wie Zielobjektsuche, Fährtenarbeit oder Mantrailing könnte man ihn sicher begeistern und dies würde auch für eine sinnvolle kognitive Auslastung sorgen.
