When you talk to him while he’s in his enclosure, he often starts rolling around adorably, with his paws in the air. The shelter is not a pleasant place for Fira. The presence of other cats causes him a lot of stress. It’s only when he’s alone in the outdoor run that you really get to see who he is. Then he happily paces back and forth, enthusiastically gives head bumps to everyone, and loves nothing more than a quick cuddle. You can tell from everything how happy he becomes with attention and human company. Fira has already experienced a lot in his life and ended up at the shelter due to distance. That’s why he’s looking for someone who will give him the time he needs to adjust and gradually rebuild his trust. With Fira, nothing should be forced. He feels most comfortable during short, relaxed cuddle sessions. If his signals aren’t recognized or his boundaries are crossed, he may bite. Als je tegen hem praat, begint hij vaak ontzettend schattig te rollen, met zijn pootjes in de lucht. En spelen? Daar is Fira dol op! Met een speeltje erbij komt zijn vrolijke en speelse kant helemaal naar boven. Hij loopt inmiddels gewoon lekker rond, is ontspannen, zoekt zelf contact en geniet zichtbaar van de aandacht. Fira is een vrolijke kater die graag komt kijken wat er gebeurt en op zijn tijd gezellig een knuffel komt halen.
