Fly

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

Fly - a little whirlwind is looking for his forever home ❤️ approximately 4 months old (as of July 19, 2026) | friendly, playful like a puppy Our little Fly was discovered with his four siblings alone on a busy street. One of our animal rescuers was informed that the five puppies were helplessly running around and exposed to great danger daily. For us it was immediately clear: The little ones had to be safe! ❤️🐾 Without hesitation we brought them to a protected place. 🛟 The first days were very exciting for Fly. Everything was new and unfamiliar, so he had to orient himself at first. 🥺 But after a short time he showed his cheerful nature. In the meantime, Fly is a playful, curious and open-minded little male who wants to discover the world with enthusiasm. 🌿🎾 He loves to romp with his siblings, experience new adventures and then cuddle up tired and content in his basket. 🥰🐶 Of course, Fly still has a lot to learn. The dog-1x1, life in the house and all things that are important for a family dog are still on his agenda. 📚🐾 With patience, love and consistent, loving upbringing he will master everything step by step and develop into a loyal companion. ❤️ We wish our little Fly a loving home where he can arrive in peace and grow up protected. 🏡💕 People who give him time to build trust, discover the world with him and make him part of their family. For that Fly will make his family happy every day with his cheerful nature, his loyalty and lots of love. 🐶💖 ✨ Maybe you are waiting for exactly the basket in which Fly can finally arrive and stay forever. 🐾🍀❤️ Fly is vaccinated, chipped, dewormed, not yet neutered and examined by a veterinarian when he leaves and has an EU pet passport. All our dogs travel with official Traces papers and Paragraph 11 permit to Germany. Our dogs are additionally tested for rapid testing of diseases in the Mediterranean area. The deposit is €500 plus €30 for the purchase of safety harnesses. Note: If we assign certain breeds to our dogs, we orient ourselves exclusively on external appearance as well as observable behavior (phenotype). That applies: This assignment is made according to the best knowledge and conscience of the association and the participating veterinarians. However, these information do not necessarily correspond to the actual genetic makeup (genotype), because their reliable determination would only be possible through a DNA analysis. In addition, the behavioral and character description of the respective animal is based on careful observations by the animal rescuers on site or by the respective foster families. It should be noted that these assessments refer exclusively to the current local conditions in the shelters or foster homes. It is important to understand that the fur nose will change after a successful

About Fly

What life with Fly looks like

Fly is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Rescued Souls e.V. in Pfinztal.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rescued Souls e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Rescued Souls e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rescued Souls e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
