Francis is a smart cat who fits well in both larger and smaller families. He is used to children of all ages and trusts us humans a lot. He often lies in bed and purrs, relaxes on the couch or falls asleep next to you. Francis likes to drink running water and would appreciate a cat water fountain or an owner who turns on the kitchen tap for him. Francis has kidney disease. Therefore, he needs to eat special kidney food. It is important that a healthy cat does not eat kidney food. If you have other cats in the home, food bowls with chip readers should be used to keep the food separate. Francis has also had several teeth removed due to tartar. We recommend brushing Francis's teeth regularly to prevent the formation of tartar in the future. Previously, Francis was an outdoor cat and he longs to be outside again. We would like him to continue being an outdoor cat. However, when cats have kidney problems, it is important to have extra supervision. As an owner, you need to be watchful that Francis eats and drinks as he should and goes for regular check-ups at the veterinarian.
