VERMITTLUNGSHILFE FOR FRANCIS (born 2017) Francis has been with his owner since his birth. He lives there with three female cats (previously there was also the father as male reinforcement), which works very well, with the large tomcat showing more submissiveness (especially towards the smallest lady). Unfortunately, "his" room and garden are located at the outskirts of the town near a busy street, so the cats have to make do with a secure run that Francis very much enjoys. Francis, however, has a lot of energy and is not sufficiently stimulated even with the secure run. He often gets bored and seeks mental stimulation or something to play with. We would therefore like to find Francis a new home with a free run in a less trafficked area or, for example, on a farm where he can really let off some steam. His people should not be completely unfamiliar with cats. Although Francis is not a typical lap cat, he is happy to cuddle when he feels like it. If he has no more interest, he shows it by gently (!) nibbling/biting the hand. The 8-year-old tomcat is above average in size and quite heavy, but despite his size, there is no need to worry that Francis would be a danger to another cat he lives with. On the contrary… Francis was born on May 15, 17, he is neutered, microchipped, regularly vaccinated, and medically attended to (e.g., dental work). His current home is near Sinsheim. We have Francis very much and it is very hard for us to let him go. However, we believe that he would do better somewhere else with a free run, and we therefore want only the best for him. He does not need to be rehomed urgently, so we are flexible in terms of timing if he cannot be taken in immediately. VERMITTLUNGSHILFE FÜR FRANCIS (geb. 2017) Francis ist seit seiner Geburt bei seiner Besitzerin. Dort lebt er zusammen mit drei Katzendamen (früher gab es noch den Vater als männliche Verstärkung), was sehr gut funktioniert, wobei der große Kater sich eher unterwürfig zeigt (v.a. gegenüber der kleinsten Lady). Leider liegen „seine“ Wohnung und Garten am Ortsausgang an einer stark befahrenen Straße, so dass die Katzen mit einem gesicherten Auslauf, den Francis sehr gern nutzt, vorliebnehmen müssen. Francis hat jedoch sehr viel Energie und ist trotz des Auslaufes nicht ausreichend ausgelastet. Ihm ist oft langweilig und er sucht sich deshalb Beschäftigung/etwas zum Spielen. Wir wünschen uns daher für Francis ein neues Zuhause mit Freigang in einer verkehrsberuhigten Lage oder z.B. auf einem Bauernhof, wo er sich richtig auspowern kann. Seine Menschen sollten nicht ganz katzenunerfahren sein. Francis ist zwar kein typischer Schmusekater, aber er kommt gern zum Kuscheln, wenn ihm danach ist. Hat er keine Lust mehr, zeigt er das durch leichtes (!) Knabbern/Beißen an der Hand. Der 8-jährige Kater ist überdurchschnittlich groß und recht schwer, aber trotz seiner Größe braucht man keine Bedenken haben, dass Francis einer (evtl. kleineren) anderen Katze, mit der er zusammenlebt, gefährlich werden könnte. Eher im Gegenteil… Francis wurde am 15.5.17 geboren, er ist kastriert, gechippt, regelmäßig geimpft und tierärztlich versorgt (z.B. Zahnsanierung). Sein derzeitiger Wohnort liegt in der Nähe von Sinsheim. Wir haben Francis sehr gerne und es fällt und uns sehr schwer ihn abzugeben. Jedoch gehen wir davon aus, dass es ihm woanders mit freiem Auslauf besser gehen würde und wollen daher nur das Beste für ihn. Er muss nicht dringend vermittelt werden, daher sind wir zeitlich auch flexibel, wenn er noch nicht sofort aufgenommen werden kann. Uns ist wichtiger, dass er ein wirklich passendes Zuhause mit passenden Besitzern findet.
