Simona is one of many small already older mixed dogs, from one of the numerous greyish Shelter (killing stations) in Romania. Her time had expired and she was released to kill. A last, desperate call for help from an animal welfare organization on site went through the net and indeed, Simona was finally seen. The operator of our friendly German animal welfare association, the mercy court “Korweiler-Mühle e.V.”, fell in love with the small ca. 10 years old female dog and Simona, as she was now called, were allowed to travel to Germany at the Gnadenhof. Totally preserved, much too thin, with numerous bites and full of fear Simona arrived in Germany. Always ready to escape from man. Simona ist eine von vielen kleinen bereits älteren Mischlingshunden, aus einem der zahlreichen grauenhaften Shelter (Tötungsstationen) in Rumänien. Ihre Zeit war abgelaufen und sie war zum töten freigegeben. Ein letzter, verzweifelter Hilferuf einer Tierschutzorganisation vor Ort ging durchs Netz und tatsächlich, Simona wurde endlich gesehen. Die Betreiberin von unserem befreundeten deutschen Tierschutzverein, dem Gnadenhof „Korweiler-Mühle e.V.“, verliebte sich in die kleine ca. 10 jährige ältere Hündin und Simona, wie sie nun genannt wurde, durfte nach Deutschland auf den Gnadenhof reisen. Total verwahrlost, viel zu dünn, mit zahlreichen Bisswunden und voller Angst kam Simona in Deutschland an. Immer bereit, vor dem Mensch zu flüchten.
