FURY

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Fury, a female puppy estimated to have been born in February 2026, was found alone at the train station by a family in late June 2026. The very anxious dog was somehow captured with a jacket and brought to the animal shelter. How could someone leave such a helpless creature to its fate, and what must this poor little being have experienced in its short life that it is so fearful? In the first days, no one could touch Fury as she snapped in panic. However, she gradually realized that nobody wants her any harm here and gained trust day by day with the caregivers. At heart, she is a people-oriented and affectionate puppy. She is still rather reserved and cautious but is visibly happy when someone comes to her kennel and gives her some attention. Outdoors on a leash, she is understandably uncertain and simply needs much practice and routine here to get used to the many external stimuli. The team tried to place sweet Fury with one of the other single puppies in a kennel but they were all too wild for her. In the exercise yard with some smaller adult dogs, she felt more comfortable. For the delightful Fury, we are now looking for enterprising people with dog experience and plenty of time who want to embark on the adventure "puppy" - with everything that comes with it: playing, cuddling, romping but also loving training. Please note that a puppy is a full-time job in the first months and needs 24-hour care. This must be ensured for possible adoption. Fury will move to her new home chipped, vaccinated, dewormed and with an EU pet passport. Has this cute little girl enchanted you? Then we look forward to your contact! Please send us the self-disclosure right away.

About FURY

What life with FURY looks like

FURY is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Pfotenretter Ungarn in Pfotenretter.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting FURY, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about FURY?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenretter Ungarn handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw FURY on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt FURY if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenretter Ungarn will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is FURY already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if FURY isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenretter Ungarn early rather than rehoming privately; they know FURY and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
