Garfield is an older red tomcat who likes to take things easy. He is absolutely more of a lazy cat than a hard worker, and you will often see him relaxing. Unfortunately, his love of laziness is also reflected in his weight: Garfield has quite a bit of extra weight. He came to us because his owner could no longer care for him due to a move. We are therefore looking for a new home for Garfield where he can settle in quietly and where he will be well cared for. Despite Garfield not being exactly a sports enthusiast, there is one thing he does love to get moving for: a nice scratch! He absolutely loves attention and finds it wonderful to be petted. Give him a nice spot and some loving attention and you will have a happy Garfield. For his health, it is important that his new home takes his weight seriously. He will need to lose weight in a responsible way and get more exercise. This must of course be done slowly. His future owner must therefore enjoy helping him with this and ensuring that Garfield reaches a healthy weight again. ❤️ Garfield is looking for a loving home where he can not only enjoy his quiet life, but also where his health is taken care of. Garfield is een wat oudere rode kater die het allemaal graag lekker rustig aan doet. Hij is absoluut liever lui dan moe en je zult hem dan ook regelmatig lekker zien relaxen. Zijn voorliefde voor het luieren is helaas ook een beetje aan zijn gewicht te zien: Garfield heeft behoorlijk wat overgewicht. Hij is bij ons terechtgekomen omdat zijn baasje helaas niet langer voor hem kon zorgen vanwege een verhuizing. Voor Garfield zijn we daarom op zoek naar een nieuw thuis waar hij rustig kan wennen en waar er goed voor hem wordt gezorgd. Ondanks dat Garfield niet bepaald een sportieveling is, is er één ding waar hij wél graag voor in beweging komt: een lekkere aai! Hij geniet ontzettend van aandacht en vindt het heerlijk om geaaid te worden. Geef hem een fijn plekje en wat liefdevolle aandacht en je hebt een tevreden Garfield. Voor zijn gezondheid is het belangrijk dat er in zijn nieuwe thuis serieus aandacht wordt besteed aan zijn gewicht. Hij zal op een verantwoorde manier moeten afvallen en meer beweging moeten krijgen. Dit moet uiteraard rustig worden opgebouwd. Zijn toekomstige baasje moet het daarom leuk vinden om hem hierbij te begeleiden en ervoor te zorgen dat Garfield weer een gezond gewicht bereikt. ❤️ Garfield zoekt een liefdevol thuis waar hij niet alleen lekker mag genieten van zijn rustige leventje, maar waar ook goed naar zijn gezondheid wordt gekeken.
