Native Country: Hungary Gaston, the beautiful guest, arrived as a found dog at the animal shelter on April 1, 2026. He was alone on a busy street in Kecskemét. Thankfully, the animal shelter was informed, and Gaston was safely secured without any injuries; it could have been much worse. Whether he was abandoned or ran away from home, we do not know, and it will remain his secret. During the microchip check, no one was found, and no one reported this wonderful dog as missing. As always, it’s hard for us to understand, but this is how Gaston, who got this name at the shelter, got a chance at a life with people who will love, value, and show him how wonderful life can be. Gaston is a fine fellow. Kind, friendly, open-minded, nice, agile, simply a great four-legged friend who brings joy and is at the wrong place in the animal shelter. Gaston enjoys every pat and human affection, soaking it up like a sponge and would love more of it. He needs a lot of love and closeness. Walking on a leash works well already, but it’s still in need of improvement. A little more work, Gaston, but it will definitely be fun to learn and practice with him, because he wants to please, learn, and simply be with his people. He wants to be meaningfully occupied and go on adventures with his people. Gaston would be the ideal companion for hiking, jogging, cycling, or any other activities where dog and people can spend time together and have fun. He gets along well with his fellow animals and is currently (April 20, 2026) being integrated into a mixed pack. For our charming Gaston, we are looking for dog-loving and affectionate two-leggeds who will step into a shared future with him. Gaston needs people he can rely on and who can guide him affectionately but consistently, then he will be a faithful and reliable companion. He wants to make up for and enjoy everything that has been denied to him so far: love, care, varied and exciting walks, species-appropriate stimulation, lots of cuddles, and 100% family connection. Whoever gives this wonderful fellow his time and love will receive a faithful lifelong companion. Who will enter into a lifelong dog-human partnership with Gaston? Gaston can travel starting around mid/end of May 2026 if he finds a home or a foster home.

Ursprungsland: Ungarn Der wunderschöne Gaston kam am 1.4.2026 als Fundhund ins Tierheim. Er war in Kecskemét auf einer vielbefahrenen Strasse alleine unterwegs. Zum Glück wurde das Tierheim informiert und Gaston konnte unverletzt gesichert werden, nicht auszudenken, was alles hätte passieren können. Ob er ausgesetzt wurde oder von Zuhause weggelaufen ist, wissen wir leider nicht, es wird sein Geheimnis bleiben. Bei der Chipkontrolle wurde man nicht fündig und niemand hat diesen tollen Hund als vermisst gemeldet. Wie immer unverständlich für uns, aber so bekommt Gaston, diesen Namen hat er im Menhely bekommen, eine Chance auf ein Leben bei Menschen, welche ihn lieben, schätzen, achten und ihm zeigen, wie schön das Leben sein kann. Gaston ist ein feiner Kerl. Lieb, freundlich, aufgeschlossen, nett, agil, einfach ein toller Vierbeiner, welcher viel Freude macht und im Tierheim, wie alle Hunde, am falschen Platz ist. Gaston geniesst jede Streicheleinheit und menschliche Zuneigung, saugt sie auf wie ein Schwamm und hätte gerne mehr davon. Er braucht viel Liebe und Nähe. An der Leine laufen klappt schon ganz gut, ist aber noch ausbaufähig. Ein bisschen muss Gaston noch die Schulbank drücken, doch es wird bestimmt viel Spass machen, mit ihm zu lernen und zu üben, denn er will gefallen, lernen und einfach bei seinen Menschen sein. Er möchte hundegerecht beschäftigt werden und gemeinsam mit seinen Menschen auf Entdeckungsreise gehen. Er wäre der ideale Begleiter beim Wandern, Joggen, Fahrradfahren oder sonstigen Sachen, wo Hund und Menschen die Zeit gemeinsam verbringen können und Spass haben. Mit seinen Artgenossen versteht er sich gut und wird aktuell (20.4.2026) in ein gemischtes Rudel integriert. Für unseren bezaubernden Gaston suchen wir hundebegeisterte und liebevolle Zweibeiner, welche mit ihm in eine gemeinsame Zukunft schreiten. Gaston braucht Menschen, auf welche er sich verlassen kann und welche ihn liebevoll aber konsequent führen können, dann ist er ein treuer und zuverlässiger Begleiter. Er möchte alles nachholen und geniessen, was ihm bisher verwehrt wurde: Liebe, Fürsorge, abwechslungsreiche und spannende Spaziergänge, artgerechte Auslastung, viele Streicheleinheiten und 100% Familienanschluss.
