Aprīlī no kāda dzīvokļa Rīgā Pārtikas un veterinārais dienests konfiscēja 27 kaķus, kuri ilgstoši bija dzīvojuši paši savos mēslos. Dzīvnieki piederēja kādai savulaik oficiāli reģistrētai un it kā atbildīgai audzētājai, taču pēdējos gados kaut kas bija mainījies – dzīvniekiem nodrošinātie dzīves apstākļi bija kļuvuši katastrofāli, turklāt to skaits kļuvis anormāls. Dzīvoklī tika atrasti arī miruši kustoņi – suņi, dekoratīvie putni… Britānijas šķirnes pārstāvim Gastonam daba piešķīrusi pelēklillā kažoka nokrāsu un liela miegamikas raksturu. Un, lai arī puisis izskatās gana nopietns, patiesībā mums liekas, ka viņš ir pats maiguma iemiesojums.
