Gatatouille & Olaf | EFfL e.V

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Young · 1 year

♂, ♂, born ca. 2025liebenswert - reserved in Spain Gatatouille and Olaf are ca. 2025 born tomcats. Gatatouille's history is one of the most unusual there is. The little tomcat ended up in a mouse trap in early September 2025 as a tiny kitten (hence his name). His finders brought him to the animal shelter to find him a home. He is a rather small tomcat who, despite his age, still looks like a kitten. Olaf (tiger-striped) was discovered in early January 2026 in a downtown underground garage where he had been trapped for days. Neighbors heard him constantly meowing and informed the local animal shelter. It took several days to gain access to the garage; eventually, Olaf was secured with a live trap. Since then, the two loving tomcats have been waiting for a loving, adequate home. Gatatouille and Olaf are rather shy and quiet Velvetpaws. With initial reserve and skepticism, the two lovely tomcats need time to build trust. Their future people should meet them with composure and patience, as well as give them time to get used to everything new. Gatatouille and Olaf enjoy quiet moments and like to lie in their nests or bask in the sun. A quiet home with a cat-safe, cat-safe netted balcony should be present to allow them a happy life with plenty of fresh air and sunlight; also, appropriate space, as well as a cat-friendly home would be ideal and dreamlike. Gatatouille and Olaf are vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and tested negative for FIV and FelV. They are in an animal shelter in Central Spain. The adoption fee for Gatatouille and Olaf is 500,- Euro (250,- € per tomcat). Would you like to give Gatatouille and Olaf a loving home? Frequently asked

Adopting Gatatouille & Olaf | EFfL e.V, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Gatatouille & Olaf | EFfL e.V?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Gatatouille & Olaf | EFfL e.V on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Gatatouille & Olaf | EFfL e.V if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Gatatouille & Olaf | EFfL e.V already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Gatatouille & Olaf | EFfL e.V isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Gatatouille & Olaf | EFfL e.V and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
