Nina | EFfL e.V

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Kitten · 4 months

♀, born ca. 8/2021, calm - cuddly - sociable. Nina | EFfL e.V. is a ca. 05/2021 born female cat. She was discovered by our animal protection colleagues in Casas Ibañez (Spain) in a colony of stray cats and, as she was obviously pregnant, she was taken into the care of a foster home. Unfortunately, it was clear that the babies were not healthy in the womb. Pikachu, who is also currently searching for a home, is the only one of her kittens that survived. She has raised her little son very lovingly. Nina | EFfL e.V. is rather a calm animal. The very friendly and trusting cat loves extensive tender cuddles. She is sovereign and compatible with other cats. She is still young and playful, but not overly active. We wish for Nina | EFfL e.V. a home where one or more suitable playmates are already waiting. If no little house tiger has enriched your life yet, we will gladly advise you on the selection of a suitable partner for her at your request. She will not be placed in single ownership. We prefer a home with a possibility of outdoor access for her, of course only in an adequately quiet environment. If this is not possible, a suitably large apartment with a cat-safe cat-safe netted balcony is the right alternative for a happy cat life with plenty of fresh air and especially sunlight. Nina | EFfL e.V. will be neutered and is already vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV (cat AIDS) and FeLV (leukemia). She is in the animal shelter of our partner organization in Casas Ibañez (Spain). The adoption fee is 240 Euro. Do you want to open your heart and home to the charming Nina | EFfL e.V.? About Nina | EFfL e.V

What life with Nina | EFfL e.V looks like

Nina | EFfL e.V is a large kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. in Berlin.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nina | EFfL e.V, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nina | EFfL e.V?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nina | EFfL e.V on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nina | EFfL e.V if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Nina | EFfL e.V already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Nina | EFfL e.V isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Freund fürs Leben e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nina | EFfL e.V and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
