Geburtstagswunder gesucht

Belgian Malinois · Male · Adult · 8 years

Griff, a 65cm tall, 30kg Belgian Shepherd mix born October 14, 2017, is a castrated male who knows other dogs and cats. He is a calm, affectionate, and cuddly dog who seeks human companionship and enjoys petting. Griff is a relaxed and laid-back companion who likes to take things easy. He walks calmly on a leash. He gets along well with other dogs and has no problem with dog encounters. However, he doesn't necessarily need a dog companion. Griff could be just as happy living alone. He is familiar with cats from Greece and has lived with them without problems. We are looking for a quiet, single-story home for Griff where he can relax and spend his golden years. An enclosed garden would be ideal for him to stay safe and at his own pace. We want people who can give Griff lots of love, peace, and security. He is an incredibly lovable guy who just wants to arrive, belong, and be loved. Griff's history: Griff lived with a shepherd. However, he proved unsuitable for sheep work. His owner can no longer care for two dogs, so a new home was found for Griff. He is now at his foster home waiting for his forever family. Griff has been diagnosed with bilateral severe hip dysplasia (HD). Due to his advanced age, we do not want to subject him to surgery. Instead, he should be supported with appropriate supplements, an adapted exercise program, and regular physiotherapy to enjoy a good quality of life for as long as possible. Griff is very excited to see visitors. More dogs and our application form can be found on our website.

34508 Willingen Griff Rasse: Belgischer Schäferhund Mischling Alter: geb. 14.10.2017 Größe: 65cm Gewicht: ca. 30Kg Kastriert: Ja andere Hunde? Ja Kinder? Kennt er nicht Katzen? Ja Mittelmeertest? Negativ!

About Geburtstagswunder gesucht

What life with Geburtstagswunder gesucht looks like

Geburtstagswunder gesucht is an adult belgian malinois dog waiting at Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Geburtstagswunder gesucht, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Geburtstagswunder gesucht?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Geburtstagswunder gesucht on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Geburtstagswunder gesucht if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Geburtstagswunder gesucht already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Geburtstagswunder gesucht isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Notfellchen Rumänien e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Geburtstagswunder gesucht and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
