A female mixed-breed dog from Romania, approximately 50 cm tall, black and brown in color, born around 2017. She is currently located in Romania. Update May 2026: Georgina definitely needs more time and rest to allow contact with us. She sought the safe hut; we did not want to increase her stress and did not pressure her this time. Update October 2024: We were able to pet Georgina well in the hut during this visit. She tolerated it patiently, although she showed signs that she is not used to it. Georgina will probably need acclimation time even with very experienced people, as she reacted uncertainly to our presence outside the hut. A confident first-time dog owner should be present. Contact: Our dogs are vaccinated (rabies and 2x basic immunization), chipped, and equipped with an EU pet passport. They will be tested for common Mediterranean diseases at our expense (we cover laboratory fees): Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmaniasis, Rickettsia, Filariae, Hepatozoonosis, Anaplasmosis. Only dogs with a positive pre-test (home visit) and a protection contract are available for adoption against a fee. Important documents: Self-disclosure for adopters, self-disclosure for foster homes *The information about the dogs (especially those still in Romania) is without guarantee. The recordings only represent snapshots. The dogs were recorded by voluntary volunteers to the best of their knowledge and belief. Sie suchte die sichere Hütte auf; da sie etwas zitterte haben wir ihren Stress nicht noch mehr verstärken wollen und sie diesmal nicht bedrängt.—————-UPDATE Oktober 2024: konnten wir auch bei diesem Besuch wieder in der Hütte gut streicheln. Sie ließ es geduldig über sich ergehen, auch wenn man ihr anmerkte, dass sie es nicht gewohnt ist. Georgina wird auch bei sehr erfahrenen Menschen vermutlich Eingewöhnungszeit brauchen, da sie außerhalb der Hütte recht unsicher auf unsere Anwesenheit reagierte. Ein souveräner Ersthund sollte daher unbedingt vorhanden sein. Kontakt: Unsere Hunde sind geimpft (Tollwut und 2x Grundimmunisierung) sind gechippt und mit dem EU-Heimtierausweis ausgestattet werden auf unsere Kosten (wir übernehmen die Labor-Gebühren) auf die gängigen Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet: Babesiose, Ehrlichiose, Leishmaniose, Rickettsien, Filarien, Hepatozoonose, Anaplasmose werden nur nach positiver Vorkontrolle (Hausbesuch) gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit Schutzvertrag vermittelt.
