Dit is de lieve Gloria! Gloria verscheen afgelopen december op het terras van een vrijwilligster. Het was een besneeuwde dag. Ze lag heerlijk te slapen in één van de vele warme kattenbakken die de vrijwilligster daar heeft staan voor de katten uit de buurt. De vrijwilligster had haar nooit eerder gezien. De vrijwilligster was er zeker van dat ze weg zou rennen als ze haar zag, maar in plaats daarvan was ze onverschillig en slechts licht geïnteresseerd in haar aanwezigheid. De vrijwilligster aaide haar en ze accepteerde het met gemak. De vrijwilligster had ook wat te ten voor haar meegenomen. Sindsdien komt ze vaker bij de vrijwilligster. Gloria is heel lief en vriendelijk tegen mensen. Daarom besloot de vrijwilligster haar een kans te geven om haar gouden mandje te vinden. Er zit echter wel een minpuntje in haar karakter. Ze is erg dominant naar andere katten, vooral naar dominante katers. Ze kan iets beter overweg met poezen. Ze accepteert geen dominante katers. De vrijwilligster denkt dat het daarom beter is dat ze als enige kat geadopteerd wordt. Gloria heeft nog een ander probleempje. Haar linker achterpootje is ontwricht. Dit komt waarschijnlijk door een ongeluk uit het verleden. De dierenarts heeft haar onderzocht en bevestigd dat ze geen pijn heeft. Dit kan niet verholpen worden, omdat het een oude blessure is. Ze heeft perfect geleerd hoe ze hiermee om moet gaan in haar leven. Ze kan gewoon rennen, op dringen springen en zelfs in bomen klimmen. Gloria wordt als binnenkat geplaatst of in een huisje met een veilige tuin/balkon. Gloria is gesteriliseerd. Geeft u Gloria haar gouden mandje? Update juli 2025 Gloria is een lieve en aanhankelijke kat, die de andere katten in huis begint te accepteren. Ze is echter fel beschermend over haar eigen ruimte. Hierdoor denkt haar verzorgster dat een huisje met een alleenstaande man of vrouw, of stel, die haar niet per se 24/7 aandacht willen geven het beste is voor haar. Dit ook omdat ze een zelfstandige kat is en veel uren alleen door kan brengen. Haar ideale huisje heeft een katvriendelijke afgeschermde tuin, aangezien ze in principe een kat is die buiten leeft en overleeft. Ze heeft dus baat. bij een tuin om van de natuur te genieten. Een appartement zonder buitenruimte is niet ideaal voor haar. Gloria is erg knuffelig. Je kunt haar gemakkelijk optillen, omdat ze mensen vertrouwt en haar nagels nooit gebruikt.
