His story: Gregory is only five months old and has already gone through a lot health-wise. One of our animal rescuers became aware of the young tomcat on a Facebook group. He looked very energetic in the photos, which is why she contacted the poster. Soon, Gregory was taken to the vet, where we took him into our care. It turned out that he was suffering from a catgut infection and a hernia (a tear in the abdominal wall due to an acquired or congenital defect). Fortunately, he was treated in time. Now he is back to health and eagerly awaits his new home. Despite his past, Gregory is very friendly and open. However, he also needs his alone time occasionally. Since the little tomcat is still so young, we do not want to place him in single housing. If there is no other cat in his new home, he would be happy to have a friend from the foster home. Whether Gregory will be an outdoor cat or a purely indoor cat in the future, we cannot say at the moment. Either way, he will surely be happy with a cat-safe netted balcony where he can bask in the sun.

Seine Geschichte: Gregory ist gerade einmal 5 Monate alt und musste gesundheitlich schon viel mitmachen. Eine unserer Tierschützerinnen ist auf einer Facebook Gruppe auf den jungen Kater aufmerksam geworden. Er sah auf den Fotos sehr mitgenommen aus, weshalb sie Kontakt zum Ersteller des Posts herstellte. Schnell wurde Gregory zum Tierarzt gebracht, wo wir ihn in unsere Obhut nahmen. Es stellte sich heraus, dass er an einer Bindehautentzündung und einer Bauchwandhernie (Bruch des Bauchinhalts durch einen erworbenen oder angeborenen Defekt) litt. Glücklicherweise konnte er noch rechtzeitig behandelt werden. Nun ist er wieder wohlauf und wartet sehnsüchtig auf sein neues Zuhause. Trotz seiner Vorgeschichte ist Gregory sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Allerdings braucht er auch hin und wieder seine Ruhe. Da der kleine Kater noch so jung ist, möchten wir ihn nicht in Einzelhaltung vermitteln. Falls in seinem neuen Zuhause noch keine weitere Katze auf ihn wartet, nimmt er gerne einen Freund aus der Pflegestelle mit. Ob Gregory in Zukunft als Freigänger oder als reine Wohnungskatze gehalten werden soll, können wir aktuell nicht sagen. So oder so freut er sich aber bestimmt über einen vernetzten Balkon, auf dem er sich die Sonne auf den Bauch scheinen lassen kann. Dies ist allerdings keine Voraussetzung für die
